Rathalos Hammer

After much putting-off and overlooking, I finally got around to finishing this as much as it ever will be.

This is supposed to be the Rathalos blade-master armor from Monster Hunter Tri and the Red Bludgeon hammer. For some reason, probably for the sake of simplicity, hammers/maces fall under the usage of blade-master armor.

This took about seven hours from start to finish. The hardest part was the line art, though admittedly I got rushed with the shading and just flew through it.

I probably should have spent more time on his posture; he kinda looks to me like he is trying to run while avoid getting kicked in the nuts at the same time. I probably should have had the mace lower and tried a wider stance...but oh well, I'll learn from my mistakes with this one and apply it to my next drawing.
